Porcelain Laminate Veneers
What are they?
Veneers are very thin facings fitted to the front of your teeth, made out of porcelain to create the smile you want.
Situations we can treat with veneers are:
- Close spaces between the teeth (diastemas)
- Fix broken or chipped teeth
- Fix Unsightly, stained or washed out fillings
- Cover permanently stained or discolored teeth
- Beautify misshapen or crooked teeth
- Whiten dark yellow or stained teeth
They have a “life like” appearance with the strength, beauty, and durability only porcelain restorations can deliver. Veneers do not require the extensive grinding of tooth structure that caps do, yet they accomplish a lifelike aesthetic result.
Finally, as with all things man made, Veneers do have a life expectancy, which depends on various factors including how well you care for them. Keep the teeth very clean and avoid biting on very hard things.
